Telegraph Building Fat Cats
Grade II listed former telephone exchange and offices built in 1900 of brick and terracotta with plain tiled roof. Eclectic style of vertical elongated spaces. 'TELEPHONE BUILDINGS' above main door. Balustraded parapet, towers with terracotta panels and bell-cast tiled roofs and leaded turrets. Central dorma roof gave good light into the main switch board floor - later use, a badminton court.
